Row Mangham has been a full time graphic artist since 2002 and couponing aficionado since September 2011. When asked about what first drew her to couponing and bargain shopping, she said she loved being able to get the things she needed within her very tight budget. She also cited religiously watching her (then) favorite tv show, Extreme Couponing, as one of her major influences: “I would watch marathons of that show over and over again. I’d be glued to the tv holding my breath every time they got to the cash register and handed over their coupons. They made it look so easy!” Row said this is what inspired her to pursue couponing and she hopes to pass on the savings to anyone who will listen. When she isn’t trying to find the best deals online and in-store, Row enjoys crafting, cooking, sewing and gardening.

I love, love, LOVE my cats. A few years ago I had two of them but had to put them both down because of liver failure. I was a pretty broken person around that time. It just broke my heart to not have them anymore. Well, my friend wound up moving to a new place soon thereafter and had to give up his kitty. In steps me, I take the cat and never looked back. She’s so stinking cute! I…

How I’m Saving Money on CAR REPAIRS

How I’m Saving Money on CAR REPAIRS

Ugh…. Like clockwork, I think I have my car good to go and then I find out something else. Last week I had planned to get a wheel alignment and some new tires to “winterize” my car. Here in Ohio, you can’t be too careful during the winter months. Well…. I took my car in and they promptly gave me my keys back after about 15 minutes. Said I needed to have my front tie rods (inner and outer) replaced before…

Cleveland Home Opener Day

Cleveland Home Opener Day

My friends and I used to go to every home opener for the Indians but then last year we didn’t go. I wasn’t about to miss the party this year. Before we’d have a good group of people with us but this year there was just 3 of us. Me, Tim and Todd. We all took the day off of work and headed downtown for the party and game. We had a great time when the guys were awake. And…

Cleveland Art Museum Visit

Cleveland Art Museum Visit

I’m so lame. I have been meaning to share these photos I took when Tim and I went to the Cleveland Art Museum on April 2, 2017. It’s free year-round ya know! Check it out if you haven’t been. There’s plenty to see and it’s an ever changing collection so you can never be bored with it all. We spent several hours there and only got to see 4 different exhibits. I love the early renaissance art. I also wanted…

Downtown Cleveland Visit

Downtown Cleveland Visit

On April 2nd my honey and I took a trip to downtown Cleveland. I personally haven’t been down there in YEARS! At least, not to sight see and visit new places. This was a long overdue trip and I was so glad to take it. We just jumped in the car and said “let’s go to Cleveland”. We didn’t have any set plans. Just winging it. I took a bunch of pictures. 37 to be exact. I put together this…

Garden Update 4/6/17

Garden Update 4/6/17

One of my girlfriends was telling me she already went out and bought then planted her pansies. Meanwhile, all I had were sketches of my two gardens with nothing useful written on them. I went to Lowe’s where she bought hers. The 6 packs were only $1.98 each. I wound up buying 6 packs – not really knowing what I was gonna do with them. Well, Sunday came and man was it beautiful. It was the perfect weather to get…

Keeping Up With Current Food Recalls

Keeping Up With Current Food Recalls

I think we all can agree that food recalls are serious business. It’s hard to believe that before the internet I didn’t even know they existed. It seems to me that there has been an increasing number of recalls lately. It could be hard to keep up with them all on your own. Thank goodness there’s a website that conveniently lists them for us. Www.foodsafety.gov FoodSafety.gov is the gateway to food safety information provided by government agencies. [To] better communicate…

Garden Update 4/7/17

Garden Update 4/7/17

I’m beginning to plan for my two gardens this year. My girlfriend suggested I try pansies this year. I am definitely doing radishes and tomatoes again. Besides  that, I don’t know what I’m going to grow. I decided I wanted to check out my blog from last year and see what kind of progress that I made, what worked for me and what didn’t work for me. In doing so I came across this post that I really enjoyed. I know you…

10 Recipes to Satisfy Your Cherry Pie Craving

10 Recipes to Satisfy Your Cherry Pie Craving

One of my favorite memories in my high school years was the desserts my mom would make for the holidays. Sometimes we’d have cheesecake with strawberries. Other times we’d have pie a la mode. Mmmm… and these weren’t homemade pies either. She’d get the frozen ones, Marie Calendars. They were delicious! She’d pull it out of the oven and my mouth would be drooling. I usually ate mine warm with two scoops of ice cold vanilla bean ice cream on top….
